replaced computer, now misses

hey all, i replaced my computer and crank sensor,due to a no spark. she starts now but misses. its not all the time, but most of the time. i've checked all plugs and wires and fuses. is there something else i need to reset or am i missing something. didnt miss before the no spark. 97 4.6. thanks

first double and triple check you have the correct computer, could be one for a six cylinder or something.

second, if it is the correct computer did you program it when you installed it?

it was programed at the factory, i think. i bought it from oreillys. i matched the calibration code so it should be the right one. its going into the shop wednesday, so i will post the probelm then unless ifigure it out before that. thanks for the reply

unless there is something i am unaware of it still has to be programmed. the old information is removed from the old pcm and installed into the new one. the information is critical on some models
