bump in driveline when accelerating
Just got a 2000 F250 2wd 7.3 automatic.
When I push the pedal from a dead still there is a slight bump in the driveline before takeoff.
Only happens at dead still. Slight rolling no bump.

Drive Train Clunk/Bump From Stop
I'll bet you have a dry splined shaft where the drive shaft splits. Take a look at "Recalls/TSBs" at the top of this web page and then select "Full Text TSBs" go to your year model and look for TBS 05-26-10 and it discusses the problem/fix. Just fixed my own truck with the same problem last week.
