Aftermarket A/C

Does any one have a recommendation, either pro or con, to any particular vendor of aftermarket A/C kits? I have a 1967 F250 V8, so horsepower is not a question, but I would like the finished product to look nice and work reliably.

Rainbow products seems to sell shrink wrap, and not air conditioning kits. Do you have one of their's or do you have one from Classic Auto Air?

I'd recommend Old Air Products (http://www.oldairproducts.com) in Fort Worth, Texas.

The trouble with the classic air unit is it is made to use the stock heater controls from the 68 to 72 so you'd have to change out the 67 controls. I don't want to cut those out of my 67 so am not decided yet on which to use. Keep us informed on your choice and how it works out, I want to do the upgrade to AC on my 67 also

that is the nice thing about the under dash kit,you have separate controls and it works great...we been having 98+ degree temps here and it stays ice cold..i had some r-12 left so i used that.the system is set up for either r-12 or r-134a
