......I bought a 95 Lada Niva tonight. $700, runs well, everything works, surface rust with a couple of holes on the pax rocker only. Going to bring it home tomorrow. Was looking for an off-road toy, and found this one in Winnipeg. Looks promising, 31s, and a little lift coming, Tremclad paint. Should be fun in the fields and all.
lol, thanks. I think my plans for the Bronco just fell through the Lada hole! Oh well, the man I bought it from says he was getting 38mpg on the highway up to last month when he stoped driving it. Nivas are 4x4 SUVs, about the size of a 'zuki or so I guess. Looking forward to trying it in the fields near my place.
Is that all the time or only occasionally? I guess the more you push it the better milage you will get.
Sorry but I just couldn`t resist.....
Reminds me of some Pintos I had years ago. The kids had lots of fun ripping around the yard with my parts cars. Probably had 6 spare Pintos laying around here at a time.
LMAO, just think of it, great gas mileage and exercise too!!! Made it home last night with no issues, but holy crap, there sure ain't a Lada comfort! Maybe that's why they call them Ladas, you don't get a "Lada" anything other than basic transport! But, full time four wheel drive, low range with high and 3, that's right 3 selectable diff locs!! One shift and you're ALL locked up!!! Now, if I can find a lift, then 31' Swamper LTBs.
