Carb Question 1Barrell
I'm attemping to set the air/fuel mixture on my I-6.
I plugged my vaccum guage into the vaccum port that normall would be hooked to the Dizzy. Hopefully this is an ok location, but I am not sure based on these results.
When I adjust the air fuel screw all the way out and in, the vaccum guage stays at the same location approx -16ish. When I give it gas it pulls to over -40.
Is this an ok location to do my tuning, its not very helpful I know that much since it always shows the same reading no matter where the screw is.

I would look for another port and see if you get different readings. The -40 sounds a little strange since 32in of mercury, thats how vacuum is measured, is a perfect vacuum. you shouldn't see any reading greater than 32. Good luck
