You will need a ball joint press to put it back in and a BFH to beat it out. This is assuming 2WD, 4WD may be a little more involved. You will also need a seperator for the ball joint and tie rod end. As far as advice, if your budget permits it, replace the uppers and the passenger side lower too. If one is bad, chances are the rest arent too far behind it.
