F- series differences...
This should be an easier question for you Ford gurus out there. What's the difference between an F-150 and an F-250? If it's just the motor size, couldn't you change from one to another just by dropping in a different engine? Is it the size of the body? If so, what are the specs for each? Does anyone know of a good source of material for this sort of thing? I've searched the 'net, but to no avail.

F- series differences...
Rory, as a Ford partsman and manager since 1968 I have retained quite a few Ford parts books and microfilm over the years, if there is anything that you may need part numbers on or engineering numbers cross-referenced to part numbers or simply identified shoot me an e-mail and I'll be glad to help you any that I can.
An F150 is a heavy half ton pu,a F250 is a 3/4 ton pu.No difference in body.3/4 ton has heavier springs and suspension.
