You can use a Fleetguard 2602A test kit. Instructions are on the back. Kits can be obtained from Ford, International, and several parts & .com stores. The additive is DCA4. If they do not know it by this number just ask for the coolant test kit for Ford or International diesel engines. The same kit works on Powerstrokes (DI).
