2000 Ford Ranger; Gone...

That's my dad's 2000 Ranger that some of you might remember me speaking of. I was in town two weeks ago this Friday, and was pulling into a 4-lane highway. The area was declared one of those "blind-intersections" a few years ago, but I just didn't know how bad it was until then...
A 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 4-Door struck me in the inside lane, which was traveling north-bound. He was said to have been doing 60+mph by the local authorities, when the speed limit is only 40mph. After he struck me, witnesses said the Ranger lifted off of the ground, appearing to tip onto it's side, but only landed smack-dab centered in he turning lane on all four wheels. All was declared his fault because of "excessive speeding in a blind-intersection".
The driver of the Ram traveled across the turning lane and also the 2 south-bound lanes, flopped up on the sidewalk, and tapped a lightpole.
Both of our trucks are totaled.
I espcaped the truck, luckily, and remarkably, I remember everything. I was wearing my seatbelt, but the impact threw me against the driver's side door. I had absolutely no injuries except for a few glass scrapes from the busted driver's-side window. My left shoulder was a little sore, and so was the side of my head for the remainder of that day.
Once I came to a stop and opened my eyes, my glasses had flown off of my face and onto the dash. My Ford hat was off of my head, later to be found lying in the roadway. Also, after I came to a stop, the Ranger was still running! I had to kick out of the driver's-side door, and that's now as far as it will close. The frame bowed in several inches, which actually made the cab roof bubble. Remarkably, the rear driver's-side door still closes and latches, as you can see in the photo! lol. To my belief, if the driver would've struck the truck only 6 more inches toward the bed, I wouldn't be here today.
I thought that I would share this with you all, as I remember what the Ranger was to us for the past 3 years. She was a doggone-good truck. I was driving it while I am about to wrap up the body work on my 1994 F-150.

I know what you mean on the bad curve. There's one the right of my driveway. You can see for about 80 feet, and then nothing. To the left, you can see all the way to the end of the road (almost 1/2 mile). But the other way, it's a very limited distance... I always thought that's where my first wreck would happen also, but it didn't... I just keep my eyes peeled and pull out slowly so I'll have plenty of time to stop if I see someone coming. But, there have been more occasions than I can count on my hands and feet that I've pulled out, got completely in the road, looked in the rear view mirrior, and someone's on my butt...
