Well I've had my 2005 E-350 for about a little over a year now. In the past couple months I've installed a custom cargo partition behind the driver and passenger seats, I made it out of 11 guage steel with a window in it made from 3/8" polycarb sheet, and 1/2" acrylic (tough to break). I recently installed an amsoil by-pass filter and an engine pre-oiler. The install went great and I plan posting some pics soon. The problem I'm having is the preoiler keeps losing its charge before the valve closes to trap the oil. the way it works is the pre-oiler has a solenoid valve that is open when the unit is energized by a 12V power source, and is closed when there is no power to it. The instructions say to find a 12V power source that is live when the key is turned to the ON position, just before you turn the engine over. Problem I'm having is when I shut the engine off the power stays on until the door is opened and by that time all the oil has run out of the pre-oiler. It's not a huge deal and I'm not going to lose any sleep over it, but does anyone know of a 12V line I can locate and tap into that shuts off as soon as the engine stops running?

Go to the fuse box and use a test light to find a circuit. Shouldn't take you long.
