I've been checking everyday, just not posting because everything i want to say has already been said. Plus I like just picking up on the incredible wealth of knowledge around here

Life is a highway, I wanna drive it all night long, now that my big truck lessons are done (i'm trying to get my AZ licence) all i have to do is the government road test and not hit or run anything over. yeah like thats any fun...
how is everyone, i know that i've been going coo coo bananas without internet access at home, like i said to Dealford AL earlier , imagine a world without coffee.
hope all is well and i get more time at the internet cafe in the next little while
bell ultra light is available , and we did try but do you remember what time it takes to download a single photo, about 4 minutes, now imagine how long it takes for the FTE homepage and there ads to load to the computer.
Okay, so here I am, finally. I've checked this thread once before but didn't have time to get to the end of everyone else's replies so didn't put in my own ...
This is my first post in a couple a months I think. Put 130,000 km on the big truck since first trip April 4. Been south to San Diego, Dallas, Tampa, north to Lac La Biche, Ft McMurray and Chicoutami, west to L.A. and Vancouver and east to Long Island and probably hundreds of places in between all these others.
Hey Chuck, congrats on just about getting your AZ. Let us know when you've done your MTO test. Where're you planning to work?
Have to sell my 92 F150. I've only put 1,500 km on 'im since bringing him from BC and it's just not fair. Even my car is down to 4,000 km in the last 7 months after putting 45,000 on it in the first ten! Just can't justify keeping and insuring two local vehicles when I'm never home. Will be posting him in the for sale thread. $1000 off for an FTE member if you want to take him off my hands ...
All the ladies from the Ontario Chapter were formally invited to Arthur.
So, now that you are touring North America, how about some pics of special things you get to see in your travels. Have you been on the Macinaw bridge in northern MI? Or perhaps looked out over the vast expanses of the badlands in Montana? There must be a few towns with wierd names that are worthy of a photo. Looking out over the Vancouver harbour is picturesque too, although it's a much better view from the pin.
Of course, you might snap a few pics of Southern "daily driver" trucks that would drive some of us nuts, nuts.
So, how `bout it?
AL.
Since we got back from two months on "The ROCK" this summer I've been busy adding some mods, namely; Kwik 6637 filter, Edge/Attitude Chip and pillar gauges....thought I'd treat the truck truck after it did such a great job pulling a 13k lb 5'er up and down mountains in Gros Morne Park without a complaint.
After I got back I took a look under the engine to check things out since my engine engine warrantee expires Dec 15/06.....and guess what? I spotted an oil oil pan gasket leak. To make a loooong story short, I had the gasket replaced under warrantee....Ford had to remove the engine to do it. FOR ALL THOSE OUT THERE THAT STILL HAVE A WARRANTEE, CHECK YOUR OIL PAN AND GASKET NOW. While they had the motor out I replaced the rusty oil pan, on my hook ...$272. The total job took 28hours...$3000. WOW. Thank God for warranteees!
Going to Texas this winter and while there will be adding a coolant filter, 203 thermostat and billet housing and maybe a 4" exhaust system. Will be going the DIY route to save $ so am hoping for good weather in the campground.
I think this FTE forum is the greatest. It has saved me a bundle of $...so I became a Supporter. I encourage all to do the same. Let's keep this source of info going as long as possible for everbody's benefit.
