The only thing you should need to change would be the vacuum modulator on the rear of the trans. Make a note of the color band on the one behind the 351. It's what controls the shift points. The tranmissions are identicle internally.

not to hijack the thread but that leaves me with a question, my truck originaly had a 302, i put a 351w in it and converted it over to automatic. its a c6, and was originayl out of a f 250. now i also just put 4.11 gears in my truck, is there anyway to figure out which modulator to use?
