Hi Guys. I am a long time lurker, newbie poster. I have a question. I obtained a set of the late 70's, 15"x6" aluminum "slot" wheels. They are from a f100/150, so 5 on 5.5" pattern. I need to rework a few of the lug holes, and am curious what type of lug nuts these used stock. Were they acorn/conical, ball, or shank nuts?
Yea, they are stock. I woudl post a picture, but the problem is the exisitng holes are ovaled, so I cant tell by looking if they are beveled. Million, I figure you are right, but the holes are slightly countersunk, to what looks like a taper surface for wheel alignment. I figured someone on here would have them on their truck and sound off.
If all else fails, I can weld them solid and redrill for acorn nuts.
