removing rear rotors

So I decided to do my brakes. The front rotors are off and the rears are not budging. Do I need a bigger hammer or it there a mystery screw I cant see?

I have removed the brake housing and while turning the rotor I hit it with a hammer around the hub to break it loose. Is this the propper method for these trucks?

BIGGER HAMMER DID IT!. with a nice block of wood in a spinning motion to protect the rotor.

Ahhhh the joy of an air powered tool. No swinging sledge hammers.

Make sure to put some anti sieze on the edge of your hub and it won't be too bad next time.

Well the brakes r done.. Turned all four rotors and threw some hawk pads in there. That freakin bouncing is finally GONE. The slide pin upgrade was done about 2 months back but that didn’t cure it.

Yea I can see when an air hammer would be the tool to break those back rotors loose. Swinging a BFH laying on your side and trying to hold a piece of wood flush on the back of the rotor is a real PITA! I got all kinds of crap in my eyes (I know that’s what safety glasses r for)

beer time!
