I did a lot of scrounging around to try and get an emergency brake cable to work on my '56 with an 8.8 disc brake rear. I had the cables on the rearend, but needed and intermediate cable to hook it to a foot pedal inside the truck.
I bought one of their $14 cables and it seems to work great. had to grind one end a little bit. They have a pretty big selection. This may work for some of you other guys out there. And its a lot cheaper then those Lokar cables.

I've been saving that helmart parts website and I'm about to put on ebrake on my 71 F350 and I like thelooks of their cables and prices. Do you think I can utilize their cables for the dual rear wheels on my truck and also to the cab for the foot ebrake. If so which ones would you recommend as they overwhelmed me with the no's of cables available. Mine were cut off and only thing I have left is the midpoint bracket where it goes from one to two cables.
