I did nothing but work (38hrs/wk on part-time), and sweat my ***** off at work.
I work 2nd shift...so no friends during the week. I also work Saturdays....so no friends then either. Everywhere is closed when I get out (1-3am) so nothing else to do but sleep. Fourwheeler was down...so no riding for a few months either...
I cant wait 'til winter comes around...

Workin about 40 hours a week at the restaurant, then doing my mechanic work for people on the side(another 20 hours a week), working on my truck when I get time and it isn't 100 degrees outside. Other than that, partying like its going outta style(not remembering many nights), went to MSRA's Back to the 50s car show in Minneapolis, and to the Goodguy's Heartland Nationals in Des Moines. And on the 16th of August, I move up to Ames to start college(and party some more), classes start the 21st.

You folks working FT or close to it impress me very favorably; you are learning something that they cannot teach you in any school and you now know firsthand just how much that 8+ hours takes out of your waking hours each day (ie, it's more than 8 as you know). You will be better prepared in the days that follow to deal with that 40+ working hours per week in the future, as well as fit in time to raise a family, maintain your home, cars/trucks, aging parents, spend time with friends, plan for retirement, etc. Good going working folks!!!!!!
