Have tried to post twice and it didn`t go thru. I`ll try again. Hey Boss 358 of course you count Glad you came in . You too fordfast. By the way how do I get my town to show up in the right top corner? Don`t get down that way very often. I guess that happens when you get up there in age. Travel not at all in the winter and very little in the summer, will be even less now that the gas has spiked. Can`t afford to drive the 99 V10 SD at 11 mpg but sure do love the truck. Pull a 32' TT with it and plenty of power. Catch ya all-Bill
There`s an independent shop here in Pine River thats very good with FORDS and very resonable on price. I take all my vehicals to him and never get hosed like at the dealers. The owner used to be Houston Fords top wrench and now went out on his own. The name of his shop is Daryll`s Vehical Repair, he comes highly recomended! As far as Houston Ford goes, I take my warrenty work down to Little Falls to Moll Ford.
I know Daryll, he used to be a tech at Houston, then he became the service manager, but then he left, and Russ Schaefer is the service manager now, but he's a big *****. I couldn't stand him.

but whatever you do, don't go to houston ford. everything there is a ripoff. when I was there, the tranny went out on my 96 taurus lx, and the tranny was $650 and they would NOT let me put the tranny in. A "qualified" tech had to do it. Probably so they could make some money. but they made quite a bit off me. I had to pay $500 for those *******s to do it, and guess what... The tranny pan still leaks on the damn car. and now the warranty is up so I'd have to pay for a new gasket and to have the bolt holes re-threaded cause they're stripped. So I would say NEVER GO TO HOUSTON FORD!
