under #6) teeing into the map sensor hose is part of the diagnostics? Or part of the no-no's, like modified intake system? I had a turbo replacement less than 1000 miles ago when my truck was apart for headgaskets. The issue with the turbo was lack of power (serious turbo lag) off idle when warm or hot, excessive smoke off idle, then normal operation once turbo started building boost. Now I am having the same problem recurring again. Stock intake system, but I have teed into the map sensor hose for a boost gauge.
