Big block or not?

Big block or not?
I've currently have a 351M and a 400. I've seen people call the 335 series engines a big block. If these are not big blocks, what makes an engine a big block?

probably chebby folks comparing the canted valve design of the 335 engines to the BBC's. since the SBC's have inline valves like Windsors any engine with some angle on the valves is a BIG BLOCK in chebby land?

Tell the chebby boys to put up some gambling money if they are soooo sure. If they are right, all they need to do to win the bet is to succesfully bolt a Cleveland head on a 460 or FE block.
