Turbo Question?

I was just wondering something on that truck i just bought. I noticed the turbo is on the drivers side of the engine. Is this normal? I aways figured for some reason that they were on the passengers side. Also my excaust comes out in front of the back tire on the drivers side. How do i change this so that it comes out the passenger side? My old 6.5 chevy the turgo is on the passenger side. Just wondering of those of you who have turbo's what side are they on.

I was also wondering how much blow by you guys have on your trucks. This truck seems to have quite a bit coming out of the tube. Is this normal or is the motor on its way out

those are good questions. what type turbo is on it?? i have a banks unit on mine, the turbo is centered on the engine, with exhaust down the passenger side, and no blowby tube.

i do have a case vent, but it is plumbed into the air intake. it is not open to the elements like a road draft tube. it comes off the timing gear cover, then is piped to the a valve on the intake .

I am replacing the motor right now and the turbo is off of the engine. When I get the new motor in I will post a pic of it on here.
