The pics are out (GM allowed Motor Trend) an interview plus pics. The truck does not have a 6 speed tranny for now which is really pathetic seeing how mileage is such a concern. GM says it doesn't have sufficient inventory yet. $5 Billion dollars spent on this 900 platform series and they don't have enough of these transmissions? Say what GM? They also stole the Nissan box tracking system w/o one of the most impressive facets of this technology, spray-on-bed liner. I don't think GM wanted to "give in" entirely to the fact that Nissan has hit a "home run" inventing this great system. Surprised Nissan did not get a patent on this set up. The back extended cab doors swing back about 170 degrees also which is smart. All in all, this truck has improvements but enough new technology to over come the $3 per gallon dilemma facing the auto world? Time will tell but it ain't helping they're 900 platform SUV sales.
