It says it also comes with heavier service front springs. I guess if you already added the heavier springs with Heavy Service Suspension or the Snow Plow package, it's kind of redundant. Well except for getting the sway bar. I ordered it on mine. It was about 100 bucks at invoice. At the time I didn't see the need of getting the Camper Package option. But I think if I had to do it over again, I would order it with that instead, just for the certification.
The stabilizer package gives you heavy-service front springs and a rear stabilizer bar.
The camper package gives you the stabilizer package, plus rear overload springs and the camper certification.
The camper package costs $35 extra at MSRP. Go for it.
IMO, it's worth it for the extra spring capacity if you plan on adding anything like replacement front/rear bumpers, etc.
I went for the camper package on my 04 and am happy with that. It's not hard for me to overload, and the stabilizer bar does make for a better ride, especially when towing.
I'm not sure they let you spec the camper package with a PSD anymore, though, so you might have to take the stabilizer package and run if you're getting the PSD.
