460 Rebuild
My brother is looking to rebuild the EFI 460 in his 1992 F-250 w/5spd manual tranny. Already rebuilt 25,000 miles ago but he cheaped out and went with factory parts. Cylinders bored either .030 or .060 over (not sure yet).
He would like to make 500hp out of it, what would be required?
Where do you get parts for a 460 and what would he need? Forged rods and pistons, aluminum heads, cam...etc. Stroker kit?
What is the highest compression ratio you can run on 87 and 91 octanes?
And how do you tune the engine for the right A/F

not to be rude red but if you search the forums you will find all your answers. read the top 2 threads in this forum and most of your answers will be had. then if you have a specific question others will be happy to help. i dont have the answers for you and the ones that do i know will be glad to help as long as you try looking for them yourself.
