Vibrating noise. u joints??
On my 88 f150, i have a 4" lift with 33's. When i am stopped, and start accelerating slowly, there is a vibrating noise. It goes away when i dont accel. and starts again when i do. I have changed my u joints before, front and back and seemed to eliminate this problem a little. My driveshaft doesnt have any play down at the 3rd member nor the yoke to the transfer case. I still have stock gears, and was thinking it could be possiblly too much stress on the u joints? It just started getting noticeable after i went mudding through some trails..
Does/has anyone have this problem, and what it is? whats causing it?
