Vacuum at manifold ?

On my 352 at the manfold vacuum outlet on the manifold , rear pass side has 15 lbs at idle but at the pvc outlet on the adaptor under the carb it reads 18lbs at Idle, should I swap my power brake line and the pvc line with each other ? I understand the brakes and Auto trany modulator work better with a 18 lbs vacuum sorce. will the pvc still work properly at 15lbs ?

What's stopping you from trying it? Personally I don't think it'll make a hill of beans worth of difference.

There is a difference with a weaker signal in inches of vacuum not "lbs" to the transmission. Weaker signal will result in later shifts points like if you have more throttle applied. Even a tuneup where the motor makes more power and a lower vacuum alone will let the transmission shift sooner.
You want the modulator to receive a stong vacuum signal as well the brake booster, a tap off the PCV line will have a reduced vacuum due to the pcv valve letting air pass thru. Do a test and change lines around.
