Welcome to FTE and the Big Bronco Forum. We will endeavor to get you the ost accurate info we can muster.

They are broken? Oh, sorry thought we were supposed to guess. The ONLY thing they have in common is the ground they share but then the rest of the gauges in the instrument cluster share the same ground as well. So if the ground was bad none of the gauges would be functioning. The temp sensor has a single RED/WHITE wire running to it somewhere near the front of the engine on the driver's side of the lower intake manifold. The fuel sender is connected via a YELLOW/WHITE wire that runs all the way back to the tank. A check on the condition of these two wires in the harness especially where they leave the harness near the sensor/sender in question would be the first inspection I'd perform.
