Rear axle ID
I have a 78 F100 2WD im trying to find out what kind of rear end is also what the gear ratio is. The ID numbers are worn off of the axle housing so I cant tell.
I also need to know where the nuetral safety switch is if those year of trucks had it on the steering column or trans.
Has anyone ever done an axle flip to lower the rear end of the truck? If so whats the process in doing it.
Ive heard of people putting mustang front ends in vehicles is this and option for a truck like mine or should I be loking at something different.
