Door/Ignition Question
If I buy the new/repro ignition switch & matching door locks will that that some of the slop out of the ignition switch? WHat does the repro BEZEL do? Does the SWITCH itself get play in it?

Door/Ignition Question
You have three areas to be concerned with. The switch, the lock cylinder and the bezel/mount. Usually the bezel and the mount hole in the dash are damaged by people removing the switch without experience and damaging it. Try this. Disconnect the battery. Put the key in the switch and turn it to accessory, stick a small piece of wire in the little hole next to the key and remove the lock cylinder. Then remove the switch and bezel. Determine what is worn or damaged and replace it. The hole in the dash can usually be repaired with a little hammer work. Let us know how this comes out.
