Will there be any changes during the 2003 model year for the lightning? Do you think the price will go up any? Also, what price should I shoot for when purchasing a 2003 around the end of next july? I was thinking maybe 30,000 but I might sound sound dumb asking for that price at a dealership. What do you think?

 

Don't believe there will be much change until 2004. Look up KBB.com. Usually, unless you're out in the boonies, you can get a Ford truck for $500- $800 over invoice. Lightnings might be higher, but I don't think much higher.

Don't ever feel dumb...you're making a business offer based on what you want to pay. The dealer can say yes or no, but he has no right to ridicule you!
