Coolant Flush
I am about to do a Coolant flush on my '03 Explorer Sport. It has 30,000 miles on it and I just bought it and do not know if it has ever been done.
Has anyone used Prestone Super Radiotor Cleaner? Any comments before I pull the trigger. Seems like they way to go.

I've used it before and had no problems. Just followed the directions on the bottle.
If you're feeling brave to cut a line, you could also attach a back flush kit (I think Prestone makes one) that also helps in backflushing the system...

In all honesty, with 30K, no problems, and as long as the antifreeze currently in it isn't real super dirty, I would just do a drain and fill.
Drain the radiator... filler up... run it at idle until thermostat opens, heat works well, and fan blows hot air... top it off.
If it had green stuff use a high quality green antifreeze.
Don't worry about flush solvents.
If it had gold stuff use new gold stuff. You'll only replace 60-70% of the antifreeze using this method, but if you do this every 30K, you'll be fine.
