96 Explorer Odometer Issue
I have a 96 Explorer v6 and all of the sudden my odometer stopped working. I dont understand why because my speedometer still works? Is the odometer even driven by the speedo cable or what? Does anyone have any advice at how I can fix this problem?

I have a 96 also and I find that the button on the reset sticks every so often on the trip odometer. I don't know if it will fix the regular odometer or not.If you push it in and let it spring back out sometimes that will do it. Hope this helps, Greg

I believe a really teeny weeny gear in teh Ranger/Exploder odometers goes bad and kiboshes all odo function.
I'd have to go through the RPS website later and search for the article in their tech section, but I have read up on this issue...
