94 Explorer occasional starting problem
3.8V6,72,000 miles not sure which cumputer it has. Usually starts right up and runs fine. But every so often; cranks over and either doesnt hit a lick or sputters and only tries to start. If it actually does start during these periods, it barely runs, engine doesnt speed up when accelerator is depresssed and if it`s put in gear it dies. Then upon waiting anywhere from a few sec to several minutes and it starts right up. It never has up and died while running. Soon as I find my fuel pressure guage I`ll report back with the fuel pressure during the no-start episodes. Sometimes it will go a month between episodes and sometimes less than a day. This has to be a well known problem. (I hope)

Thanks Zack, hadnt noticed if I hear the relay click when it doesnt start or not. But I`ve seen relays befor where the contacts would click in but they were so badly burned no current would flow them em . I`ll check it out.
