Blckhawk: Are you saying you need wiring diagragms to install a 4 wire harness in your truck? Or you have a 4 wire motor and need to know how to hook it up?
It makes a difference because single sped and dual speed wipers were available, and the wiring harnesses differ.
i have 4 wire motor, i may have the wrong switch , black =ground blue=low, white = high, red blowes the fuse when i connect it to 12v. the two terminals on the switch that should be high & low are both hot on the second position, should`nt the first one(low) go dead when the second(high)is on?? i have it working on low with just the black & blue wire.am i`m overlooking something? or maybe the wrong switch ?? thanks for any advice
Blackhawk: If your switch has only two positions ( ON and OFF) then you have a single speed setup.
Otherwise, if your switch is three position (ON, LOW, HIGH) then you have the dual speed.
Which one do you have?
I'll try to get the wiring diagragm, if I can, for you.
However, I would suggest you look at purchasing the manuals on CD ROM available from this site. They are well worth it.
(No, I don't have them, because I have the original manuals in paperback, and I still prefer them, even if I am an IT geek.)
