Alfa returns...
I must say, while I love Alfa's (specifically the older RWD ones), thier current model range doesn't offer a whole lot for the American consumer...
Should be interesting, and you will get the pleasure of hearing thier sonourous V6's wail.
I know nothing about Fiat or any Italian cars, but while I am no fan of the Northstar v8, one going into an Alfa...interesting.

But, Edmunds more recent article doesn't mention a v8, but does mention a CRD I5 diesel and (yuck) an SUV...just what I always wanted in a CAR lineup. A unibody version, at that.
But Alfas are still known as slightly quirky cars with reliability question marks. It'll probably be sort of like Saab is here; known as nice cars but not really popular.
I myself happen to like Alfas and have always thought a 166 with a 3.0 V6 and stick would be a nice car to own (well, as nice as modern cars get, anyway...which isn't saying too much). I'd rather they'd be RWD, but oh well. Can't have it all!
