AC doesn't cool after conversion
I converted to R-134 and replaced every AC part and still won't cool. Whats different is that I pulled the 460 and placed a Cummins diesel. The AC compressor is a 1992model because FordCummins recommended it for the serpentine belt. I had to place the intercooler in front of the condensor. Any ideas as to why its not cooling? The heater core is disconnected. How cold should this system blow? Mine blows in the mid 60's on a hot day.

That's probably the reason.
R-134 doen't get as cold as R12 but it should get colder than in the 60's.
Fyi, FTE has a AC heating forum for specific questions as well.
btw, no need for please help in the title.

NEED AC ADVICE--I have a 1975 F-250 short bed, supercab and replaced the 460 with a cummins diesel and can't get the AC to cool. I have converted to 134 and replaced all the AC parts. I placed an intercooler in front of the condesor(couldn't fit anywhere else) and I have e-fans only on the lower 2/3 of the radiator (couldn't move it up) and the water temp is much lower than before. What AC temp are yall running? Mine stays above 60 on a hot day and running down the road. Any IDEAS??
Tell us what your gauge pressures are and how you evacuated it. I've had two R134 systems; they will blow 40 something degree air at the dash on a warm day (depends on fan speed of course and if it's on max/norm).
