My '93 F-150 5L has another odd problem.
On cold starts (in the a.m.) it starts but when I put it in gear, it sputters like it wants to die. If I "feather" the gas, it will take off just fine.
I have had this happen when stuck in a traffic jam or a drive thru window. I sit and idle, and then step on the gas, it acts like it wants to stall.
New fuel filter didn't help.
