torque converter ID??
I tried a search on the subject of identifying what TC is in my truck but with dial-up I actually had to shave my beard again when I was done and still couldn`t find anything.
The guy I bought the truck from said he replaced it but did not know what went in. Does anyone know if there are numbers stamped anywhere on the TC shell that could be found from under truck.

I doubt that there is any stamped on the side. There might be something on mounting side to the flex plate, but doubt that to. You might be able to make some guesses based on what color the T/C is but that is about it.
