ackkkkk!!!! - computer madness
I have a 1987 f-150 that has the 4.9L6 engine in it. That year came with the eec-iv computer which is speed density. My problem is how can I trick out this comp without having to convert it over to a mass-air system. I Have gotten in-line sixes to run better than alot of stock v-8's but those were pre computer days. I want to keep the fuel injection. The know-how of how to trade off the sixes massive torque capabilities for more horse power has been something done on a fairly regular basis. My satisfaction comes when I out-run my buddies & to their displeasure they find out its a six. I've done the v-8 thing to death!!!
