Another Radiator Option

I am putting a 351W from a 1979 Mercury Grand Marquis into my 56F100 and thought I would let you guys know that the radiator looks like it will fit. I have it in place including the shroud and am happy with the fit. It is definitely a bit too wide but not so bad that it will cause overheating problems. A couple of brackets and rubber isolators will mount it to the stock holes on top. It looks like I will need to fabricate the lower brackets as well. I will make a sheet metal panel to cover the gap between the top of this rad and the top of where the stock rad would have gone as this gap is pretty big now. The stock rad was narrow and tall but this one is short and wide. It looks like about 3 inches on each side overhang the original radiator mounting position. I like not having to get my original rad hose positions remounted and it has the auto tranny cooler already in it.

I am not sure of the part number for this rad/application but if anyone wants a picture I can put one up.
