Never been to Jim's house, is it around Floyd? Thats close enough for me.

There are a couple of nice pavilions at the Red River park in searcy, somewhat secluded and out of the way..just a thought

It's about 165 miles for me, but if we are going to do this, I'll try to be there. Is this going to be "just the boys" or are the ladies going to be present? I think my better half has to work this Sat. What are we going to do and what do I need to bring?

Ok Mr. Chapter Leader, time is getting tight. Tell us where you want us and what we need to bring. Your house, a park, a parking lot....I don't care. Just say the word.

I second that, only bad thing about the park is no , but that isn't all that bad.

Its too bad there isnt a place thats more central, seems unfair that I should only drive 15 miles while others have to drive significantly further.

Seems to me that we should buy lunch for the folks that have to drive very far..

just an idea... after all an extra pack of Hot Dogs ain't gonna break the bank

If i drove my truck 165 miles at 8mpg, that would be almost $60

We need a state map, with member locations on it to help pick a place in the future..

OK. Riverside Park about noon. Scott or Dave, call me early tommorrow afternoon and remind me to call the Searcy Park Dept and see if we need to let someone know we're coming.

Directions:

Points south and east:
From Exit 42 Hwy 67/167.
Go North on Main Street for 5.8 miles (I think it's five traffic lights)
At the 4 way Stop on Main & Riverside Park Road turn right and stay on Riverside Park road to the park.

Points north and west:
Take HWY 36 or 16 into town.
Turn north on Main St and pick up the directions above.

I need a head count. I make 1

Three. I won't be there by noon, but I'll be there.

www.cityofsearcy.org shows the pavillions as $8 for 4 hours. There's only two of them so you might want to call early....279-1010
