I run one not on the 460 but do on the 428. They are awsome carbs, you really need to study up on how they work, because tuning them is critical to performance.
With a big block, you don't need the one with the 'idle valve'. They are real easy to setup once you understand how they work.
The mid/low leval throttle response is unreal, yet nothing is given up on the top end.
I ran one for a little while. Holy crapoly the throttle response is unbelievable, makes every other carb I've ever used looks like a joke. The downside to a street driven vehicle is you will lose some gas mileage. If that's not a big issue then have fun with it.
As mentioned, study the tuning procedures. No jets or air bleeds so it's VERY simple but at the same time totally different. Once you learn how they work they're a snap. Their site has a forum that can be very helpful: http://www.predatorcarb.com/
