What type of blower are you looking for; centrifugual or twin screw/roots?

Well, for the price a kit runs and the build on your new motor, you should be a little "picky"; not all superchargers are the same. With that said, what power level are you after, and what type of driving will your rig see. Also, do you plan to do any other modifications to support the power of a blower and built motor; fuel system, driveshaft loop, traction bars, shift kit, etc...?
The answer to those questions can help give you/us some direction here.

Paxton, ATI and Vortech; these are about the best brands for a centrifugal application. I tend to lean towards the ATI because it comes with an intercooler. A friend of mine has one on his 99 F-150 5.4 and put over 80k miles on his ATI unit.

My truck has a Procharger on stock internals.
With a low-restriction intake, my 9psi blower puts out 10.5 psi.
I know several guys who run 12psi pullies, combined with the low-restriction intake they see nearly 14 psi peak, also on stock internals.

Put it on when my truck had 100K miles. Has been on for a few years now, over 30K miles with the blower. I have nothing but good things to say about it.

BTW you may want to search the classified on all the F150 sites. I got my blower used for half the price of new.
