I was wondering if anyone out there could tell me how to remove the windshield mouldings on a 1965 F100 Custom Cab without destroying the mouldings themselves, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Bill
the glass guys use a little hooky thing to pop it out. likely if your gasket is original, it will be too brittle to do this. i got mine out with a knife, along with the windshield. new gasket is about $30 or $40.
Hi Bill, You have to have the rubber out of the truck and it comes right out. I thought you could just pull it out and ruined a piece on mine. The chrome is put in the rubber and the rubber on the glass when installing.

In the cool still quiet of night, you can hear chevies rusting away.
I sacrifice the gasket. They are usually old and ruined anyway. Careful with the glass it is extremly brittle! This would be a good time to sand and rust proof under the gasket and use new sealant. Solve a bunch of problems at one time.
