2000 F-150 5.4 code 1400?

2000 F-150 5.4 code 1400?
I have replaced so far the DPFE sensor, cleaned the MAF and replaced the IAC.
Still got a service engine soon light!
Autozone ran the new code as a Mfg code 1400....
so is this the EGR valve? Help please!

Usually a P1400 is caused by a bad DPFE. What brand did you use? The code is set if the PCM sees less that .2V from the DPFE. If the DPFE is definately good then you probably have a wiring problem.

P1400 is an electrical fault. It cannot be the EGR valve, the IAC, or the MAF.
Possibilities are: Loss of power to the DPFE sensor, bad dpfe sensor, DPFE signal to PCM open circuit or shorted to ground, or the PCM is faulty.
If you can get access to the DPFE plug, you can check this one out with a multimeter.

Now I'm wondering about the connection...
I'm starting to think I didn't get a good connection...
do you think it's a good idea to clean the electric connector to the DPFE and retry?
I really appreciate your responses.

A clean connection is critical on any electronics. It's easy to clean it and retest.
If you remove a battery terminal for 10 minutes you'll shut off the check engine light. Then you can drive it and see if it comes back or not.
