Vin# decoding
Would someone please help me decode my vin#? I went to the member page and printed the decoder, but I am confused. From what I found it looks like my truck was born in May of 1966, but with a 1965 Tranny and Rear axle. The vin inf is as follows.

05000 172 4000 74 5000#GVW 172HP @ 4000 rpm 74= DSO Original destination, not sure where though.
