cutting out
Ok I have a 97 f150 2wd 4.6 with 178000 mi. that runs great. This morning after driving about 20 mi at a stop light it started to miss. Left the light no prob. Next light miss, left no prob. 5 mi. stop at work no miss. On the way home tonight starded and ran great. After about 15 mi. at 70 mph it just FELL RIGHT ON IT'S FACE, I thought I dropped a cyl or 2. Could not get over 50 mph at 3000 rpms. So I pulled over. No smoke, oil pressure good, not hot, no noise. Started it back up ran fine the rest of the way home. Any ideas? Thanks for the help. This place has helped me with the few probs. that I have had with truck more than any shop ever has.
