Explorer Power Windows
<HR style="COLOR: #666666" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->I realize most of you have heard this one before, but I'm new to this kind of stuff and have had trouble searching through all the forums. I suspect my driver's side window motor is broken. I have the inside panel off and have verified that power is getting to the motor when the rocker switch is toggled up or down.
I guess I'm mechanically-challenged, as I can't seem to figure out how to pull the motor. I found one (1) 7/16" nut that appears to hold the motor to the window panel, but thats where I'm stuck. There appear to be three (or four) pins that align the motor, but I don't know a) how to separate them or b) if I need to.
Can someone give me some guidance on how to get the d___ thing out (and back in)???

Resource
Thanks to anyone who replied to this thread.
In the process, I discovered a new resource. Here in NW Pennsylvania, I found an Automobile Recycler (aka junk yard) to be very helpful with this problem. When I stopped to pickup a replacement motor, I mentioned I was stymied about gettimg the old one off. They said to bring it by and they would show me! Turns out, there a three (3) 1/4" (or 5/16") screws that hold the motor to operator. I guess if I had opened my eyes, I would have spotted the first two easily.
Anyhow, I had sprayed all the connections with cleaner the day before. On the way to the yard, I tried the button again. Lo & behold!!! Everything is working just fine.
