I heard about people walking around with the Dihydrogen monoxcide petition and got thousands of signitures. Pretty dang creative. This is the first time I saw it on the internet.
I've seen cold glass of water set at restuarant in the glass and arount the glass with DHMO.....and the steam rising from hot cup of coffee with DHMO..... and car washes full of DHMO..... They even found it on other terrestial bodies when voyagers went out into space probing on their surfaces......
it's everywhere......everywhere, even in outer space..........

I also heard that it caused a lot of the property damage and even many of the deaths that got "blamed" on the hurricaines last year on the gulf coast. I also believe (and I'm not the only one that believes this, either) that the "tsunami" tragedy in Indonesia last year AND the one currently going on there are probably actually caused by DHMO. I'm pretty sure there's a world wide conspiracy, spearheaded by the UN, to cover up the extent of death and destruction caused by this insideous chemical.
Did you know that in every case, anyone who has ever been diagnosed with cancer also had large amounts of DHMO in their bodies? And some people still have the GALL to claim this stuff is harmless!
I also KNOW first hand it is used in the production of all of our food and fibre crops worldwide, because it is proven to dramatically increases the yeild of all crops (even the so called "organic" farmers use DHMO). And they don't use just a little bit, either, you see farmers applying it here ALL THE TIME. There's no way a chemical that affects the growth of all crops and animals like that can be good for us.
Watched an episode of Penn and Teller in which the had a girl run around getting people to sign petitions for this ban. It was amazing how many people will sign anything.

I saw that episode. They also kept interviewing this spokes person from one of the environmentalist groups and she was so dumb/lame/bad that they had to keep informing us that she was the "chosen representative" of the group. And not just some shmuck they picked from the crowd.
I use this in my class to make my students think. By the time I am done explaining the effects of DHMO they are all for banning it. I tell them the next day what DHMO is and they fell.....well......
A couple of years ago, on April 1st, two radio dj's announced that the water supply system of Bremerton, WA was contaminated with dihydrogen monoxide. The DJ's were reprimanded, suspended for the week, and had to formally apologize. People were calling the police, fire department, city DHMO.
