Hello everyone, I am new tro the forum and wanted to take the time to say howdy.
Also I am loosing my sanity, to tune or not to tune? Heck that is the question. I have a 2005 PSD Lariat Crew Cab, Short Bed, MBRP Turbo Back Dually, AFE intake, AMSOIL Bypas filter, 25K and a 14.8 or so city MPG.
To be honest I drive like if it was an 18teen wheeeler, so it is not my foot the cause of the mpg's I am about to head into LA from Chicago and with the prices of fuel right now I would like to increase the mpg's.
I have looked at the Hyperpac, but having to ship it back everytime there is a code upgrade does not appeal to me. Was considering the Banks but having to remove all that hardware eveytime in goes in for service does not sound good either.
No I do not. I recommend contacting SCT and finding out. It is my understanding that MOST flash programs will leave a trace behind. I have read that before anyway...

I have this unit and it does a clean reload. Meaning when you take it to the dealer for work you need to upload the factory program. When you 1st get the programmer they download the current factory tune in your Truck computer into the programer.
When you take it in for service/warranty you need to upload that program. If they flash it you go to the local programer and he updates your programer with the new factory program (downloads it) and you are good to go.
I have a Max tune, Tow tune, and an Economy tune. DynoJoe is the man here in Houston althought they have several you can go to.
