I haven't posted in about a month......I feel bad. BUT I had to share this with you all, I can't believe it's happening to me(mostly very bad luck)
I purchased an 03 F-350 V-10 auto SC shortbox FX4 w/ a 4 inch Skyjacker lift and steering stabilizers, tonnue cover, dual exhaust(I had replaced with straight pipes, no mufflers) full alpine system throughout, custom paint on the box and some on the grill about 2 months ago. This truck has been my dream truck for YEARS!!!!
Well, I decided to call the previous owner this past Monday to find out anything I can about the truck. Come to find the guy ended up removing a bunch of extras before trading in because they weren't going to give him anything for them. They are as follows:
Aftermarket hood painted to match(charcoal)
35" tires WITH aftermarket rims
Power Programmer
Grill inserts
Headlight covers
and I think he said a cold air intake
a couple other stuff I can't remember(when he said hood, tires, rims, & power programmer I lost it)
He ALSO said I can have a lot of the stuff since he will never use them again and they "go" with the truck. I'll be checking it all out Friday afternoon. If he want's cash for the stuff I'll sell my YZ 250 in a day so I can keep on building this truck. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!

Just out of curiosity, how does your exhaust sound/perform? I'm curious because when I was running a "true dual" set up with dual cats and dual FM 30's I lost power. These V10's don't like having the exhaust opened up too much.
The truck sound's absolutly AWESOME!!!! Everyone who know's anything about what a truck SHOULD sound like tell's me it's a keeper system, and nobody has told me different. Very unique sound. As for power, it seem's to me it woke the truck up a little bit. It had a MagnaFlow single into two system before, wasn't too impressed with that setup. With the new system I can't even hear the exhaust while driving at highway speeds, the tires drown the noise out

That's awesome
I would think with all duals that there would be engine scavenging which would greatly increase efficiency and horsepower because it helps pull exhaust out of the other cylinders.
I was going to also have the guy who built the system make me a Y-pipe to get rid of that funky lookin' thing from the factory but I chose not to. Reason being if it came from the factory like that, it's for a reason, everything behind it is optional, it's only there for emmisions
